The Magic Minnow is a downsized version of our larger game fish Magic Shad swimbait. We offer this incredible swimbait with two distinct tail types for different applications.
The Sickle Tail Magic Minnow swimbait features a narrow sickle tail, whether fished vertically or horizontally the action is aggressive. The slightest movement gives this lure the enticing action of a small baitfish. The swim slots only amplify this tail action for all fishing techniques, rigging methods, and speeds of retrieval. And this includes vertical jigging, slow trolling, or casting and retrieval.
The newest addition to our well-known swimbait family of lures is the new Pin Tail Magic Minnow. This 2 1/4" micro swimbait is destined to be a classic. Its unique patent-pending design provides tremendous action from its combination of swim slots and a pintail to entice all types of gamefish, including largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, crappie and bream.

What Anglers Are Saying About Live Magic Minnow
Love working with Lake Fork. Baits are always shipped fast. Love the new packaging. They will definitely put fish in the boat
Fantastic lure. I’ve been chasing crappie for well over 20 years and have been using livescope since it hit the market. People say the color doesn’t matter, just profile but that’s not true regarding color from my experience but profile definitely does. On a recent outing I tried profile after profile, downsizing, upsizing, different colors etc.., on some finicky crappie then put in a magic minnow and I never had a fish turn away from then on. Profile! I immediately purchased every color shortly afterwards.
Lake Fork is one of our favorite gigs and we hadn't used them in awhile! Thought you guys stop! But I saw them and ordered a bunch of them and WOW THEY STILL WORK!
Absolutely love these Magic Minnow baits! The way there designed gives them great action in the water and I really like the profile too, looks just like a Minnow! Me and my oldest son wore out the crappie on em in Alabama and caught a stud of a Arctic Grayling here in Alaska just a couple days ago (electric chicken got him)! Can't beat these baits!👍👍
Love these! I buddy introduced me to them, ordered my own and we caught them like crazy with a 1/16 oz jig head. Had other people in the boat fishing other stuff and not even close to what we were catching.
Went to Illinois two weeks ago and was using your pintail crowded pie color we caught 250 keeper crappie in 2 days very impressed with this product
Best bait I've found for catching crappie! Holds up to several fish catches too. Thanks for making great baits!
I shoot docks for crappie these lures are killers they hold up great they shoot far and
I’ve caught larger mouth bass, blue gills, cat fish, and white bass on them
The fish love them
This bait is awesome, the crappies love them. I'm impressed with there durability and swimming action, i can easily get 4 to 8 crappies per bait. I love the sickle tail the paddle tail are good too. These baits come highly recommended. LOVE THESE BAITS.
This is an excellent crappie lure. I fish it very slowly and it really catches fish
Great lures for crappies, got my limited crappies with this lures . Much more durable than Bobby Garland .will continue using this and definitely recommend it.
Fast shipping. Each minnow is separated which helps to keep shape. Very durable, with great action.
These have been my go-to crappie lure for at least 10 years. These lures constantly surprise with the variety and size of other species caught while crappie fishing, including 15lb+ pike and 5 1/2lb smallmouth.
The best price I can now find is on the Lake Fork site.
Best lure I found for shooting docks docks they hold up fish after fish
New packaging is awesome!!
No more bent tails!
I've used the black/chartreuse shad minnow for several years. Crappies as well as bluegills can't resist it.
My go to trailer for clear to stained water crappie and panfishing paired with a jig head. They can’t resist the action when jigged and even dead sticking fish will crush these!
We went in looking for crappie lures and ya’ll helped us out alot on the different colors and what others have the best “ luck “ with
The Magic Minnow is a great Crappie bait with assorted colors. The impregnated garlic scent attracts the fish. I used my two favorite colors Carolina Pumpkin Chartreuse, Blue Pearl and limited out on the Crappie. Great bait for the money
Catches everything from six inch bream to 10 lb. bass amazing little baits.
Enjoy your product, it's quality I like, really going to miss the boot tail magic minnows, often , the crappie will slow the bite with ribbon tail, change to boot tail, same color, bite picks back up. Please reconsider the boot tail, thank you!
This is a superior crappie magnet, I was however disappointed with the change in color pattern for the "Electric Chicken", I was offered a refund if I wanted to return them, however the time table or window of return is only 14 days, I feel like this is not enough time.
The website does NOT adequately display the color patterns. I think it would be better to get rid of the small circles and illustrate something better.
One of the best crappie baits I have found
The magic minnow is deadly catching perch. I only keep perch 10 inches or larger and the magic minnow is amazing. It is an exceptional plastic bait. I would suggest fisherman should use it.
I have been using the pintail magic minnow for the last 4 years in Kansas and love these plastics. We caught big crappies, white bass, wipers, walleyes on these. We absolutely love the chartreuse pearl color.
Great action and a nice selection of colors.
I live using these baits! I use them to fish Crappie but end up catching bass and other types as well. They haven't disappointed me yet!
I believe I have already responded, but in case I didn't, purchase with Magic Minnow is always perfect, NO COMPLAIN,
Thank you for having a common sense of business,
Paul
